Filed under: diary — Becca at 8:08 pm on Thursday, May 3, 2007

In the last 3 months i’ve been mostly
- moving, back to Trevina thanks to the too lovely for words Sue & Kevin!
- working, i have a new job & its going great so far
- breaking up, and yes, its hard to do :0(
- not posting much poetry on here, clearly!
- scootin around the country lanes on my new moped, narrowly avoiding sheep
- catching up with some old friends, you know someones a real friend when you can not speak for years but pick up right where you left off!
- trying and failing to cure my myspace/ msn addiction
- enjoying life, and thats the main thing!

Trevina poems-

I was lucky enough to have lived at Trevina for the summer of 97, in my eyes its one of the most beautiful places on earth, enhabited by some of the lovliest people, and i have many happy memories from that time. On the Trevina poems page you’ll find some of my scribbles from those months, my attempts to campture the atmosphere of the place and bottle it with words.

Ode

We are the music makers,

And we are the dreamers of dreams,

Wanderings by lone sea-breakers,

And sittings by desolate streams;

World-losers and world-forsakers

On whom the pale moon gleams:

Yet we are the movers and shakers

Of the world forever, it seems.    -A.W.E O’Shaugnessy

Hello world!

I’m Becca, nice to meet you!

I’m a 27, I live near a beautiful beach in sunny Cornwall and work as head chef in a picturesque 13th century pub, the Treguth Inn. If you’ve read this far, you must be either one of my friends, in which case you know what you’re in for, or a lovely poetry liking person, in which case, run away while you still can before i distroy your love of poetry for ever!!

My good friend Ed set this site up for me to inflict my poetry upon the unsuspecting world. So you can blame him if you like!!

Feel free to leave a comment, be honest, but please don’t make me cry! Thanks for reading, love & hugs,

Becca xxx
